2010-2011 Committees  - to download a Volunteer form, click here.

The Tarrant County Bar Association has over 40 programs and committees that address the needs of lawyers in Tarrant County.  Additionally, it has a number of programs that provide attorneys in the county opportunities to help the local community in general.  These programs have won recognition and awards from the State Bar of Texas and community organizations time and time again.

These committees depend upon the active participation of the members of the Tarrant County Bar to be successful.  Serving on a committee not only helps to keep Bar activities meaningful, but offers a great way to meet other attorneys in the area, and provides an opportunity for Tarrant County lawyers to become involved in their profession and community.  One of our re-instated Committees is the Mentor Program.   If you want to volunteer as an attorney to mentor a young lawyer, or you are a young lawyer who would like the benefit of a mentor while you learn your practice, click on Mentor Volunteer Form to print a form.

This section describes the member, public, social, and bar administrative services of the Tarrant County Bar Association.  After  reviewing the committees, please complete the form and indicate  the committee or committees that you wish to serve.  If you would consider serving in a leadership position, be sure to check that area.

For over 100 years, the Tarrant County Bar Association has been dedicated to making a difference in the professional lives of its members and in benefitting the local community as a whole.  You can help to keep our local Bar activities meaningful by participating in the activities of the Tarrant County Bar Association by joining a committee today.   Contact the TCBA office at 817-338-4092 to volunteer.
