The goal of Tarrant County Bar Association (called “TCBA”) website ( is to provide a rich array of information and online tools to Tarrant County Bar Association members and the public. To do this effectively, certain user data may be collected and/or reviewed so that we can understand our users and in turn make more relevant to each individual user. When you visit the TCBA’s website (, you are identifiable as a unique number, called an IP address. Your IP address is automatically collected in server logs. We use this information to help diagnose problems with our server and to analyze server traffic to learn which pages on receive more or fewer visitors. This information is anonymous and cannot be traced back to a specific individual. The TCBA and Tarrant County Bar Foundation share personal information with TCBA employees for Bar-related operations only. Contact information is shared with section chairs or committee members in accordance with our Privacy Policy to facilitate communications with those groups. The TCBA’s Lawyer Referral & Information Service (“LRIS”) does provide a LRIS member attorney’s office a phone number to a referred client who request it or contacts LRIS. In order to offer and provide a customized and personal service, our websites and applications may use cookies to store and help track information about you. Certain features of allow members to request updates to their membership information. This typically includes name, address, email, telephone number and other data such as practice area(s), date of admission to the Bar, and Section/Committee membership. Access to some of these services is protected by a password. TCBA recommends that you not divulge your password to anyone.

Features exist on this website that enable members to pay dues or sign up for an event online using their credit card. The information collected during these transactions is used solely by the TCBA for the purposes of completing the transactions and is not used for any other purpose whatsoever. Additionally, the information collected during those transactions is not sold to any third–party vendors.

Wherever a visitor’s personal information may be held by the TCBA or on its behalf, the TCBA intends to take reasonable and appropriate steps to protect this personal information from unauthorized access or disclosure.


The TCBA site contains links to other external websites that do not fall under our domain. The TCBA cannot control the use of cookies by outside sites and is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such external websites.


The TCBA is not structured to attract children. Accordingly, the TCBA does not intend to collect personal information from anyone we know to be under 13 years of age.
