Discuss the unequal application of the law in the criminal justice arena. From mass incarceration, policing, bail systems, mandatory-minimums, and a justice system slanted in favor of the wealthy - this conversation covers some of the ways our current criminal justice system unfairly harms black and brown communities. We will hear from leaders in this area of law, and also discuss an attorney’s role in upholding the legal principle of equal justice.
